Board of Directors

President/Treasurer: Lesley Alexander – Lesley is the DOE Baldwin Kekaulike Maui Complex Area School Renewal Specialist and an Associate Faculty for the University of Hawaii MCH LEND Program. Every year at Christmas, Lesley’s three children excitedly awaited The Christmas Angel Tree’s arrival at the Mall. There they would each pick a child and find great fulfillment in selecting and wrapping their gifts and imagining the pleasure the “angel child” would have on Christmas morning. That joyous feeling of giving which enriches both the giver and the receiver at a unique individual level is what Lesley wanted to capture when creating the Upcountry Children’s Giving Circle.

She has one son, currently married and living abroad. Wendy loves living upcountry and is committed to helping Maui’s youth succeed.
